Through the mists of Asia, a colossal new adventure rises. Expedition Everest™! Hop on a high-speed train through the Himalayas for hair-pin turns which are just the start of the action. But beware, screams get the attention of the mountain’s guardian – the dreaded Yeti. In an instant, frigid winds blast and icy tracks hurl the train forward, then backward into the abyss on a spiraling drop into the mountain. You see the beast. Trouble is, he sees you too.

Dino-Sue
Visit Disney’s oldest “cast” member, clocking in at 67 million years. Dino-Sue is a painstaking reproduction of the largest, most complete T-Rex ever found! The length of a four-story building, the mighty T-Rex is available to pose for pictures with you at the Dino institute. It’s fossiliferous!

The Boneyard

TriceraTop Spin
Take the family for a spin aboard this whirling, twirling, friendly flying dinosaur. Climb into one of these four-person dino vehicles and spin ’round, up and down. Expect a dino-sized surprise for kids rising from the giant tin top at the hub of it all. It’s an experience that can’t be “topped!”

Wildlife Express Train
Ride the rails on this rustic African train that travels the savannah for a behind-the-scenes journey through several animal housing and care areas of the park. In just over five minutes, your guided train ride transports you to the core of the park’s conservation center. All aboard!

Festival of the Lion King
Plunge right into the middle of the action in this cleverly staged in-the-round production featuring songs from the film and a cast of familiar faces, including Simba, Timon and Pumbaa. Combining the pageantry of a parade with all the excitement of a tribal celebration, this is a lavish, high energy spectacle created through song, dance and specialty performances.

Finding Nemo – The Musical
A magical undersea environment is the setting for this all-new Broadway-style extravaganza featuring amazing puppetry, acrobats, original songs, and all the beloved characters from Disney’s presentation of Pixar’s Finding Nemo. Featuring original songs by Tony Award-winning “Avenue Q” composer Robert Lopez and a cappella musical “Along the Way” composer Kristen Anderson-Lopez, this 30-minute show will immerse guests of all ages in the story of Marlin and Nemo, an overprotective clownfish father and his curious son, through a dazzling production featuring innovative lighting, sound, special effects and animated backdrops.

Park Tours
Backstage Safari at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park
(8:30 am – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday – 3 Hours)
Cost: $70 USD per person
Guests are invited to find out what happens behind-the-scenes at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. During this in-depth 3 hour program they’ll get an insider’s look at the innovative ways that Disney Cast Members are meeting challenges in areas such as conservation, animal nutrition and medicine, animal care and behavioral studies. This program takes place entirely behind the scenes and includes visits to backstage animal housing areas. Animal viewing is extremely limited. No photography is allowed backstage.
Guests must be at least 16 years old to attend this program. Guests are required to have a photo ID in their possession during the program. This is an outdoor program, including moderate walking and stair climbing. Guests with special needs can be accommodated with prior notice.
Wild by Design at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park
(8:30 am – Tuesday, Thursday & Friday – 3 Hours)
Cost: $60 USD per person
“Wild by Design” presents Guests with an opportunity to learn some of the stories behind the making of Disney’s Animal Kingdom®. Guests learn how art, architecture, historical artifacts and storytelling are combined to transport them to exotic lands filled with wild animals. This 3 hour on-stage, walking tour will provide insights into the design and building of this new species of theme park as well as a glimpse into the complexities of caring for animals and habitats. A light continental breakfast will be served midway through the program.
Guests must be at least 14 years old to attend this program. This is an outdoor program, including moderate walking. Guests with special needs can be accommodated with prior notice.
Animal Kingdom Characters
Camp Minnie-Mickey is the place to go to see all your Favourite Disney friends. Four short trails lead guests to huts with Mickey, Minnie, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Goofy and others. The Characters and times change throughout the day. Check a guidemap for up-to-date information.

Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade
Mickey has invited a special group of friends to join him on a Holiday adventure! The parade is filled with Holiday atmosphere – the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and feelings of the Holiday Season. Mickey and his friends are no exception. They’ve added Holiday accessories to their safari costumes. Add in some special Holiday music and traditional Seasonal favorites with a world beat twist and you have a combination that celebrates the Holidays as only Disney’s Animal Kingdom® can. Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade
Get in on the revelry as this musical street party blasts through Africa, Discovery Island and Asia. This rompin’ and rollin’ afternoon parade is a high-energy imaginative celebration of the wild spirit of the Animal Kingdom. Starring Rafiki, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald and Goofy and over sixty Cast Members! It’s jammin’!
